With decades of experience across global mining jurisdictions—including Pakistan—our leaders specialize in geology, mine development, project finance, and stakeholder engagement. Several have advanced exploration projects to production and held senior roles at major international mining firms. This proven track record, paired with a commitment to responsible resource development, positions us to unlock the full potential of Balochistan’s mining assets.

Directors & Management

Kent Couillard, Executive Chairman and Director - With over 30 years in natural resources, Kent Couillard is a seasoned mining executive known for leading tier-one mergers and acquisitions. He has held senior roles in both public and private mining and energy companies. As former Chairman and CEO of Probe Resources, he raised $140 million and oversaw successful offshore drilling before the company’s acquisition. Kent also led corporate finance at Champion Bear Resources and was a top-producing partner at Yorkton Securities (now Macquarie). He brings deep industry insight, capital markets expertise, and a strong track record of project execution. Kent studied Economics at Harvard University.

Tim McGuire, President & CEO and Director – Tim McGuire is an international banking executive with over 25 years of experience structuring and financing mining, oil, and gas projects. He has facilitated more than $25 billion in global project financing and specializes in political risk assessment and ESG considerations. Tim serves on the boards of the Canada China Business Council and the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), and was a founder and director of TSX-listed Xplore Resources. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from the University of Victoria and has completed executive programs at Harvard, Columbia, and INSEAD

Mukarram Zehri, In-Country Relations and Director – Mukarram Zehri is a third-generation mining entrepreneur from Chaghi, Balochistan, with deep local roots and decades of experience in Pakistan’s mining sector. Educated in the U.S., he returned home to build successful mining ventures, leveraging his strong cultural ties and relationships to navigate the region’s complexities. Residing in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Mukarram remains actively involved in business and was appointed Honorary Investment Counsellor to Bosnia & Herzegovina by Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s Office. He has held key leadership roles in the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry, driving foreign investment and industry collaboration. Mukarram serves as Director of Zehri Onyx & Minerals, Chaghi Hills Explore & Mine (Pvt) Ltd., and Chaghi Hills PakCan Mining Enterprises Ltd.

Conan Taylor, LLB/JD, Legal Counsel and Director - Conan Taylor is a Canadian lawyer and Managing Partner of TJ Law Group, with over 30 years of experience in corporate and commercial litigation. He has resolved more than $500 million in contested claims, specializing in litigation risk, contract negotiation, and strategic legal advice. Before law, Conan served nine years as a Pilot Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, including a NATO exchange in the UK, retiring as a Captain. He holds a BA (Honours) in Philosophy from the University of Alberta and an LLB/JD from Queen’s University. Conan is licensed in Alberta and British Columbia.

Kevin Vienneau, B. Eng, Director – Kevin Vienneau is a mining engineer with 25+ years of experience in exploration, development, and production, primarily in the Bathurst Mining Camp. He has worked with Noranda’s Brunswick #12 mine and lead smelter, Stratabound Minerals, and Castle Resources. Kevin’s expertise spans permitting, stakeholder engagement, land acquisitions, and distressed asset recovery. Holding a Bachelor of Engineering from Dalhousie University, he currently serves as a Director of Founders Metals Inc., bringing strong technical and regulatory insight to project advancement.

Fuzail Siddiqui, Ph.D., P. Geo., Geology/Mining Expert Advisor to the Board - Widely regarded as one of Pakistan’s leading geoscientists, Dr. Siddiqui brings over 55 years of diverse experience in geoscience, mineral exploration, and project development across multiple continents. His distinguished career spans:

  • 15 years in academia and field research, with a strong focus on the geology of Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), and Balochistan;

  • 25 years in operational roles in Zambia’s world-class mining and mineral processing industry, where he gained extensive hands-on experience in exploration, mining, processing, and marketing;

  • 15 years as a Consultant and Project Manager based in Toronto, overseeing mineral projects across Pakistan—including in Gilgit-Baltistan, KP, Balochistan, Punjab, and the former FATA—specializing in commodities such as gold, copper, and gemstones.

Dr. Siddiqui is recognized for his ability to advance mineral prospects from discovery through to production. His clients have included both Canadian and Pakistani private sector companies, as well as various Federal and Provincial Government agencies in Pakistan.

Jodie Gibson, P. Geo, Chief Geologist – Jodie Gibson is a Professional Geologist with 18+ years of international exploration experience, from early-stage targeting to advanced resource definition. He has played key roles in major discoveries across multiple commodities and jurisdictions, working with leading companies such as K2 Gold, Centerra Gold, and White Gold Corp. Awarded the 2020 Yukon Prospector of the Year for his exploration success, Jodie brings proven geological expertise and leadership to advance projects.

Peter Rawlins, Chief Financial Officer – Peter Rawlins is a seasoned mining finance executive with expertise in capital markets, debt financing, and corporate finance. He began his career at Scotiabank and CIBC, co-leading mining corporate banking teams. He has served as Treasurer at Artemis Gold and CFO at NexMetals Mining, overseeing capital strategy and financial operations. Peter holds an MSc in Finance from Rochester Institute of Technology and degrees from the University of Western Ontario and University of Windsor.

Shanda Kilborn, Corporate Secretary and Investor Relations - Shanda Kilborn brings 20+ years of experience in corporate development, investor relations, and corporate affairs within the mining sector. She has supported leading companies like Exploits Discovery, Abitibi Royalties, and Canadian Gold Corp., building strong investor and stakeholder relationships. Shanda holds a BA from the University of Ottawa and is recognized for her strategic communication and commitment to enhancing corporate visibility.

Tethyan Mining Resources – Tethyan Mining Resources is a dedicated service provider to the mining industry in Pakistan with decades of experience from discovery, to production, to end of mine closure. Supported by international offices in the UK and Australia, their Karachi office is able to provide Competent & Qualified personnel with both JORC and NI43-101 experience to progress base, bulk and battery metal projects across the Tethyan Belt.
